What began as a personal hobby gradually grew into a community-focused initiative.

I founded Purl Jam to bring together students who share both a love of knitting and a desire to support others. Through the project, I have led a team of volunteers, organised workshops for underserved children, and helped develop a small social enterprise that uses handmade products to support the wider community.

More than anything, this experience changed the way I understand leadership. I learned that leadership is not about having authority, but about creating spaces where others feel encouraged to contribute, learn, and grow.
