Social Work Department
During my time at Children's Hospital 1, I worked alongside the Social Work Department and gained a broader understanding of what patient care involves. I saw how doctors, social workers, and families worked together to support young patients not only medically, but also emotionally and socially. This experience showed me that effective healthcare requires more than treating an illness; it also requires empathy, communication, and attention to each patient's overall well-being.

At the Stem Cell Institute, I was introduced to a research-driven environment and observed laboratory work involving cell culture and regenerative biology.
This experience helped me see how scientific concepts are translated into practical research. It also deepened my appreciation for the precision, patience, and discipline required in laboratory work.
